Information on Team Palmetto
Team Palmetto is in its third year under the direction of Joe Monmonier
Hilton Head High School's Head Boy's Lacrosse Coach. Last fall the
team competed in two tournaments with players from Bluffton, Hilton
Head, Wando, Charleston LC and Savannah Club. This fall Coach
Monmonier has selected three to four fall tournaments and is excited to get
started.

Information:
Eligibility.
The high
school teams are open to all 9th, 10th, 11th and current 12th graders
that are in South Carolina or Georgia.
Selection Process.
Anyone in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12 grade will be considered but we are
looking to field a competitive team so lacrosse skills are a must.
Team
Membership:
Team Palmetto will field one high school level team. To ensure adequate
playing time, the high school team will have up to 23 players on the
team, consisting of 6 Attackmen, 9 Midfielders, 6 Defensemen, and 2
goaltenders.
Tryouts.
There will be a tryout
Sunday September 21st at USC Bluffton Campus.
There will be two mandatory practices before our first tournament.

Team Commitment.
Once selected to play for any of Team Palmetto’s squads, players will be
expected to make every effort to attend all practices and tournaments as scheduled by their
team.
The team reserves the right to rescind an invitation at any time. As
well, a player may be released from the program at any time if they, or
their parents, exhibit behavior that is unsportsmanlike or become
disciplinary distractions to the harmony of the team.

Cost and Fees.
Membership fee.
Team Palmetto
membership fee for the fall is $150.00 per player as well as be a
current member of US Lacrosse. The fee includes the player’s game uniform,
practice field use fees and offset costs for coaching staff. The uniform includes one pair of TP Game
shorts, TP numbered practice/game reversible and a TP t-shirt.
The membership fee is due once a player has accepted an invitation to
play for one of Team Palmetto’s squads.
Per event cost.
After membership
and coaches fees there are additional fees for each event as outlined.
